#StopTheBiff2k18AndBeyond is growing trend across the grade 12 Pierre Elliott Trudeau high school population. It entails, just as it says, stopping the biff. Biff is a slang term in today's society that came from the word "beef" which is the word used to describe bad blood between people and any problems that they may have. Beef is cancerous to not only the people who have the bad blood, but for everyone involved as well. For example, the two peoples friend groups.
Biff only happens when two people have a problem with each other and because of their ignorance, they refuse to try and settle it. It generally is a huge waste of time because nothing good can ever come from it. HOWEVER, there is a big misconception between biff, and a simple miscommunication. Miscommunication is when person A has a problem with person B but person B doesn't have a problem with person A. Miscommunications can be easily resolved by having a little calm talk between the people. Miscommunication can turn into biff very easily though if it is not resolved early.
The moral of the story is that biff should always be avoided and stopped before it is too late and given the chance to flourish and effect countless lives.
