Opening From Book

I'd say today's been pretty slow. There hasn't been a lot of people coming and when they do come they either don't have enough money or they're "Just looking." Maybe I'm just being selfish but I'm tired of seeing my brothers and sisters go on these adventures with these kids and their parents. Gracefully floating through the air with a sting attached to them. They actually know what it looks like around the corner. I've even seen some of them get loose and float up above the buildings above the clouds!. They would've been able to see the entire world! Instead I'm stuck here at the corner of Time Square hanging onto a metal handle of a cart while the vendor tries his best to impress adults and their children with his talents. Maybe it's because it's cold outside? I mean who likes to be outside in this weather, even the vendor looks cold. Or maybe we're just out of date. Maybe we're just a 90s trend that people don't care for anymore. I mean, what's even the point in buying us? You buy us for $2 today, and within a couple days, we'll probably pop or lose some of our air and stop floating on our own. I really wish that the cart wasn't so heavy. Maybe that way with all of us here, we could actually float to our full potential and go as high we've ever wanted. Not controlled by anyone. Just us. I guess one can only dream of that happening... that's what it feels like right now anyways.
